Secure the employment
We work through the offer, pay, employment conditions, start date and any employer relocation support. Wherever possible, the employment is confirmed in writing before substantial relocation arrangements begin.
Plan the move
Once dates are clear, GemSource helps coordinate the relocation timeline. Where accommodation assistance is required on the Sunshine Coast, I can introduce you to our local accommodation/property contacts for short-term and longer-term options.
Arrive, start and settle in
I’ll stay close through arrival and commencement, then check in after you start to make sure the move and the job are tracking properly.

Settling In
The job is only half the move.
One of the biggest barriers for people relocating to the Sunshine Coast is figuring out where to stay when they arrive.
GemSource works with a local Sunshine Coast accommodation and property team who can assist with short-term accommodation and longer-term rental options where suitable.
Once your employment and relocation dates are confirmed, I’ll collect the basic requirements from you, introduce you to the right contact and help keep the process coordinated.
Work Rights
For many Kiwi tradies, the work-rights pathway is straightforward.
New Zealand citizens travelling on a valid New Zealand passport generally do not need to apply for an Australian visa before travelling. Eligible New Zealand citizens may be granted a Special Category visa (subclass 444) when entering Australia, which can allow unrestricted work rights.
Individual circumstances can differ, so work eligibility is confirmed as part of the GemSource qualification process and candidates should rely on current Australian Government guidance for immigration matters.
